An Introduction of myself:
So who is this girl!? You might be asking yourself this, and their really is no easy answer. I don’t think I’m great at introductions, but I’ll give it a shot anyway. My name is Tatyana Vogt and I am a Photographer and Illustrator located in the California, Bay Area. Drawing has been my passion since early childhood and photography has been an interest since high school.
In my free time I dress up and attend vintage events with my friends. I’m a big fan of vintage fashion and am blessed to have a friend with lots of vintage connections and an awesome vintage collection. I like to say that me and my other friends are his human barbie dolls; he styles us up REAL nice for different events. lol. I just wish that their were more events themed in different eras around where I live.
In addition to dress up, I’m also trying to get more into fun physical activities like boxing, rock climbing and hiking. All things I really enjoy but don’t do as much as I would like. I have also been feeling a strong pull towards nature lately and really want to explore the outdoors more, their is so much beauty in the world that we forget about so easily.
I enjoy fashion, entrepreneurial podcasts, spending time with my family, late night chats with my roommate, morning cuddles with my cat kiwi and so much more. Organization is something I enjoy, along with decorating my office and bedroom space. I guess you can say I’m into a lot of different things.
An Introduction of the blog:
As I’m sure you’ve figured out by now this blog is going to be focused on photography and my life. I recently decided that I want to put more effort into my photography and figured having a blog would be the best way to document this journey. I originally wanted to do a lifestyle blog so I decided it might be nice to combine them both. Lifestyle and photography, with a focus on the photography part.
So, I’ve had a the Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera for a few years now and just recently got the Sony Alpha A6000 mirrorless camera. It’s a lot smaller than my DSLR but packs just as big of a punch. Because of it’s size I feel like it’s a lot easier for me to cary around which means I’m more likely to practice. Already I’ve been playing around more with my manual settings and practicing my directing skills.
If you’d like to see more on my photography journey be sure to stick around and follow my blog via bloglovin’ or RSS feeds. Also leave a comment on one of my posts and say hello, I look forward to hearing from you!
